Tamara R. Jackson
Tamara R. Jackson is a poet, author, and performer who has left her mark on the New York City creative scene. Starting in the late 1990s, she captivated audiences both as a solo artist and as a member of A T.O.U.C.H. O.F. R.E.A.L.L.I.T.Y., even having the honor of opening for The Last Poets. Known for her relatable storytelling and thought-provoking words, Tamara is also the author of several spoken word CDs and the poetry collection Completion.

My name is Tamara R. Jackson, I possess dual Master degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary (MDiv.) and Rutgers University School of Social Work (MSW). I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and an ordained minister of the Gospel. I also am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Level 1, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivation Interviewing (MI) and use a host of other modalities to tailor treatment to your needs.
